Hadex
Dehydration can be very dangerous. It can lead to an increase in body temperature, a decline in performance, and reduced circulation to the muscles, kidneys, and gastro intestinal tract. It can also have a negative impact on your brain. If you ignore the symptoms, they could lead to shock, a coma, or even death.
Prevent dehydration and don’t wait until you’re thirsty to drink: thirst is a sign of dehydration! Hold regular water breaks and drink O.R.S. to restore your moisture balance. Tap water in Western Europe and North America is of good quality. Elsewhere in the world, however, we recommend taking additional measures to purify drinking water (or buying bottled water). If you’re heading out into the wilderness, there’s a good chance you won’t have reliable access to clean drinking water. The water may be contaminated with microorganisms, bacteria, and viruses – not the kind of water you want to drink. Description
Care Plus® Hadex® is a drinking water disinfection system that kills bacteria. It has no effect on protozoa (single-celled organisms). The use of Care Plus® Hadex® is recommended where there are concerns about the bacteriological reliability of drinking water from taps, springs, and wells that is intended in principle for consumption.
Care Plus® Hadex® consists of a properly balanced chlorine solution. Only one drop in a glass of water (0.2 liters) is needed for consumption. After 30 minutes, the water is purified and the chlorine taste and odour gone. This product is highly effective and can be used for longer consecutive periods. Availability depends on the local Biocide Regulations.
